If you didn’t get to see The Motown Invasion on Monday night on BBC 4 then you
can watch it again with iPlayer. Its a documentary revealing what made Motown special
in Britain through the lens of two decisive moments in 1965 – the Motown Revue UK
tour and the Sounds of Motown Ready Steady Go! television special.

Nicely Out of Tune is the debut album by Lindisfarne, released in 1970. This album was given
to me a couple of years ago by a friend’s Father. I didn’t really listen to it until I found it again in
my collection at the weekend. Since then I haven’t stopped playing it. Great folk/rock album.
